Seven School Wonders

Connecting through Pride in Our Schools

This is the winner poster to announce our tipical "Fiestas".

The Fiestas are celebrating in honour of our "Virgen de la Cerca"

The "Fiestas" start with the "chupinazo". A distinguished person or asosiation from the village has the honour, in recognition of services rendered, to start this special moment. A rocket is fired and the "Fiestas" start.

The brass band starts with its music and everybody is happy and dances, sings, drinks...

Mums, dads and kids go with the brass band and the  giants.

September 8th is the day dedicated to our Virgin, and there is a procession along some streets of the village.

They stop in some places and a group of singers dedicate to the Virgin a special song called "jota"

Anyway, in this  part of Navarra is not possible to understand the "Fiestas" without the tipical "encierros". Depending of your bravery you can run or ....

(These animals are not bulls. They are cows and they are less weigthed but not less dangerous!!)

You can also enjoy a concert with our recent created Band

or having a rest listening to the tuna.

One of the last daily activities is "the fire bull". Brave kids run in front of it.

And this is almost all for eight days !!!!!
