Our Town
Our Town
Our town is Santi Cosma e Damiano. It’s in the middle-south of
Our town is not very big, but it’s beautiful and warm. Our town is on a hill, five kilometres far from the sea.
In the centre of the town there is a big church in honour of our Patron Saints, Cosma and Damiano. On the 26th of September there’s a wonderful festival, it’s our Patron Saints’ Day: the church is decorated of red, in the afternoon the statues of the Saints are brought on procession all around the town. In the evening there’s a music concert and dancing on the main Square, and, at midnight there’s a fantastic fireworks show. We wait for this festival all year long.
Next to the church, there are the Municipio, the house of Major, an Auditorium for music concerts, the main Square and some shops.
We all know each other, in Summer we meet on the main Square Tommaso Rossi, to play, sing and eat delicious ice-creams all together.

Our School
Our school is called “Guido Rossi”. It’s big and old; it’s got an “M” shape. It’s got two floors.
On the ground floor there are two wings: on the left wing there are the Secretaries Offices and the Head teacher Office, on the right wing, there are Primary School and Nursery School.
On the first floor there are the Secondary School and the new ITC Lab.
There’s a playground, a parking and a gym.
We’re proud of our school, even if it’s old, we try you make it better with decorations on the walls, drawings and handmade works.
We’re very happy to come to school, our teachers are nice and we enjoy our time.
